MODES OF ADMISSION IN UPTU

ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR UPSEE 2014, MODES OD ADMISSION FOR UPSEE 2014, ADMISSION IN FIRST YEAR|SECOND YEAR IN UPTU, ADMISSION IN UPTU FOR NRI SRTUDENTS, ADMISSION IN UPTU FOR KASHMIRI MIGRANTS, FEE WARE ADMISSION IN UPTU

UPSEE 2014 exam are about to commence. UTTAR PRADESH TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY has several ways of admission for different categories of students. Based on these categories, here is a list of ADMISSION WAYS and also their eligibility.

MODE OF ADMISSION 


  • ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR 

The Entrance Examination for admission to first year of the following courses offered at the
Institutions affiliated to UPTU, Lucknow including other mentioned universities situated in territory
of Uttar Pradesh for the academic year 2014-2015 shall be conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical
University, Lucknow.
(i) 4 year B. Tech./B.Tech. (Ag. Engg.) Course (iv) 4 year BHMCT Course
(ii) 4 year B.Pharm. Course (v) 4 year BFAD Course
(iii) 5 year B.Arch. Course (vi) 4 year BFA Courses


  •  DIRECT ADMISSION (LATERAL ENTRY) TO SECOND YEAR (FOR DIPLOMA 

           HOLDERS & B.SC. GRADUATES)
(i)1
 The eligible candidates (Refer clause 3.3) seeking direct admission to second year of B.Tech. (for
engineering diploma holders and B.Sc. graduates) or B.Pharm. (only for pharmacy diploma holders)
in institutions affiliated to UPTU, Lucknow are required to submit the application forms by the last
date. Such candidates are also required to appear in the specified paper of entrance examination.
(ii) 2 Such seats are limited to a maximum of 20% in addition to the sanctioned intake in institutions/
colleges for different courses at first year level. However, students belonging to B.Sc. stream shall
be considered only after filling the seats in this category with students of Diploma stream.
(iii) Direct admission to second year shall not be made in B.Arch./BHMCT/BFAD/BFA Courses.


  •  SEATS UNDER DIFFERENT SCHEME IN FIRST YEAR

 As per AICTE Notifications F-11-140/2004-NRO/AICTE-33 dated 9-06-2004 & F.37-3/Legal/2007
dated 12.01.07 and U.P.Govt. Order no. 256 / Solah – 1 – 2007 – 1(01) / 2005 dated 14.02.07.

 Subject to change as per latest orders of Govt. of U.P. / UPTU upto the date of counselling.
£ It is as per State Govt. order for session 2014-2015 and may change as per latest instructions of
Govt. of U.P. upto the date of counseling.

(i) Number of admissions in all courses offered at Institutions affiliated to UPTU, Lucknow , will be
only through UPSEE-2014, after deducting the seats filled under clause 2.4.
(ii) State Govt. has permitted 15%£
 of total sanctioned seats available in Private Institutions to be filled
by the NRI candidates under Managemenet quota; and the same shall be filled up in accordance
with the procedure prescribed in the Govt. orders. The remaining seats in various courses offered
at all the Institutions affiliated to UPTU, Lucknow will be filled through UPSEE-2014 counselling.
(iii)
 State Govt. has also permitted 20% of total sanctioned seats available in all affiliated Private
Institutions only to be filled by JEE (Main)-2014 merit for admission to Technology/Architecture
courses; out of which 10% seats wil be filled through U.P. domicile candidates on U.P. State merit
using state reservation policy, and the remaining of 10% seats will be filled through All India merit
candidates without reservation.
(iv) Thus, 65% of the seats available in B.Tech./B.Arch. and 85% seats in the remaining courses at all
Private Institutions will be filled by the UPSEE-2014 qualified candidates, who have passed the
qualifying examination from any institution located in U.P. or whose parents are domicile of U.P
subject to the eligibility conditions given in this information brochure. If the candidate has passed
qualifying examination from outside of U.P., he/she has to produce domicile certificate of his/her
parents (Father OR Mother only) at the time of verification of document.


  •  ADMISSION TO NON-RESIDENT INDIAN (NRI) CANDIDATES IN FIRST YEAR 


NRI candidates, who possess prescribed qualifications (clause 3.4), may get direct admission on
5% seats of total intake in Govt. aided and Private Institutions having approval from AICTE for NRI
seats on merit, subject to the latest instructions of Govt. of U.P. The detailed information will be
published in the month of May 2014 in various newspapers and university website. The candidates,
seeking for admission under this scheme, need not appear in UPSEE-2014. However applicants
opting B.Arch. course under this category has to appear in an Aptitude Test on the day of
counseling to be notified later.


  •  ADMISSION TO KASHMIRI MIGRANTS IN FIRST YEAR 


Direct admission to Kashmiri Migrants in first year in each institute is to be made as per the latest
instructions of AICTE and orders from U.P. Govt. Such admissions will be over and above the
sanctioned intake and normally limited upto one admission per Institute affiliated to UPTU,
Lucknow . The detailed information will be published in the month of May 2014 in various
newspapers and University website. The candidates, opting for admission under this scheme, need not appear in UPSEE-2014.


  • ADMISSION TO FOREIGN NATIONALS (FN) / PERSONS OF INDIAN ORIGIN(PIO) /CHILDREN OF INDIAN WORKERS IN GULF COUNTRIES (CIWGC) 


Under the approval of AICTE, identified institutions shall admit FN/PIO/CIWGC up to the extent
sanctioned by AICTE as per the eligibility criteria (clause 3.5) and guidelines of the University.
These supernumerary seats shall be exclusively meant for the FN/PIO/CIWGC students
in undergraduate courses with the condition that under no circumstances a seat remained unfilled
shall be allocated to candidates other than a FN/PIO/CIWGC. The candidates, opting for admission
under this scheme, need not appear in UPSEE-2014.


  • ADMISSION TO FEE WAIVER SEATS FOR ECONOMICALLY WEAKER 

          MERITORIOUS STUDENTS 

As per AICTE notification fee waiver seats for economically weaker meritorious candidates are also
available in B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Pharm/B.HMCT/B.FAD/BFA courses in all institutions affiliated to
UPTU, Lucknow . No tuition fee will be charged from the such candidates admitted against such
seats. The fee waiver seats will be limited to maximum of 5% of the approved intake in the course, and will be over and above of the sanctioned intake. The economically weaker students must
submit certificate no. 12 (income certificate) Income Certificate at the time of
verification of documents.

HOW TO FILL UPSEE 2014 APPLICATION FORM ON-LINE|FOR UG COURSES

 UPSEE 2014 application forms are out on Mar. 15, 2014 and can be downloaded by: Application form for all courses . For filling of application forms, both online and offline methods can be used and both are equally valuable. Students can choose the one with their convenience. Here are a few guidelines to fill the applicaton form:

SUBMISSION OF ON-LINE APPLICATION FORM 


  •  APPLICATION PROCEDURE: The online application can be made from 10.A.M., 15th March 2014 till 10:00 pm of 05th April 2014 through the website: UPSEE  as per detailed procedure given in the websites. For assistance (in case of any difficulty) in filling up ON-LINE application form, candidate may contact the Help Desks at various cities. The list of Help Desks shall be made available on website. 


The On-Line application form submission consists of following three simple steps.
                      (i) Filling up of Personal Details
                      (ii) Payment of Examination Fee
                      (iii) Uploading of Scanned Images of Photograph, Signature and Thumb Impression
                            And Printing of the “Confirmation Page”

Before, a candidate starts filling the On-Line application Form, he/she is supposed to be ready with
the following:
           
 (i) A personal mobile phone number and/or a personal E-Mail id.
 (ii)Photograph: A clear scanned image of his/her recent color passport size
      photograph (3.5cm X 4.5cm) in JPEG Format with a maximum size of 20 KB. The
      photograph must be front facing to the camera in a manner that full face shows.
      The background should be either white or off-white and uncluttered. The
      photograph should be colour with name of the candidate printed on it as shown in the
      sketch below. It should be without cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed.
      Candidates with unclear photograph are liable to be rejected. Candidates may keep
      6-8 identical photographs in reserve for use at the time of entrance examination,
(iii) A clear scanned image of his/her signature (3.5cm X 1.5cm) in JPEG Format with
       a maximum size of 10 KB
(iv) A clear scanned image of his/her left thumb impression (3.5cm X 1.5cm) in JPEG
       Format with a maximum size of 10 KB

Once ready with this, he/she may proceed to following steps. Visit the websit
http://www.upsee.nic.in and through the link “Apply Online” followed by the link “Online 
application Form for UG Courses”, you may start filling the application.

A:Filling up of Personal Details 

1. The applicants should submit all the details as per their eligibility while filling the online application
form. After filling online application form; you are required to review all the entries filled by you by
clicking on “NEXT TO REVIEW” button before submitting it.

In case of mistakes, correct the same through “back” button and again review all the entries once
again before submitting it. Here, it is clarified that you may change the entries as many times as you
want before submitting the Form by clicking the “FINAL SUBMIT” button.

Note that, once “FINAL SUBMIT” button is pressed and application form is submitted, 
entries in the form can not be modified/changed/corrected in any way. Therfore before 
clicking the “FINAL SUBMIT” button, make it doubly sure that all the entries are filled 
correctly.

2. On submission of application, a registration number will be generated. You are required to note 
this registration number for all future correspondences. 

B:Payment of Examination Fee
3. A candidate can pay examination fee in one of the following manner.
                              (i) Through Bank-Challan
                              (ii) Through Credit Card / Debit Card

Payment through bank-Challan:

 If you are opting to pay through bank challan, click the required link (download Bank
challan) to generate the challan in triplicate. The challan will contain your credentials along
with the required fees. You should take the challan along with your signature and the
requisite fees to the designated bank for the payment on next day (Day 2) of filling the
application form, if the form is filled till 5 pm. In case application is filled after 5 pm, the
candidate is supposed to take the duly signed challan for payment on Day 3 to the Bank.
The bank will provide you a transaction number. Make sure that the transaction number is
filled up correctly at the space provided on the challan.

You are required to note this transaction number for all future correspondences.

Payment through Credit Card / Debit Card

If you are making payment through credit card / debit card, then click an appropriate link
and make the payment. All VISA/Master cards are accepted. You should be ready with your
credit, debit card details. The payment in this mode can be done on the same day (Day-1).

You are required to note this transaction number for all future correspondences.

C:Uploading of Scanned Images of Photograph, Signature and Thumb Impression and Printing of 
the “Confirmation Page” 

4. (a) If the payment is made through bank challan, to generate the confirmation page, visit
the website http://www.upsee.nic.in or http://www.uptu.ac.in on next day of the
date of payment of examination fee (Day 3 or Day 4) and click the link “Upload Images 
and Generate the Confirmation Page (Bank-Challan mode)”. 

Fill up registration number and transaction number (provided by bank) alongwith other
required details and then upload scanned images of your recent photograph, signature &
Thumb Impression.

Once uploading is complete, The candidate must review the uploaded images by clicking on
“NEXT TO REVIEW” button on the page before submitting it.

In case of mistakes, correct the same through “back” button and again review once again
before submitting it. Here, it is clarified that you may change the entries as many times as you
want before submitting the Form by clicking the “FINAL SUBMIT” button.

Note that, once “FINAL SUBMIT” button is pressed and application form is 
submitted, uploaded images can not be modified/changed/corrected in any way. 
Therfore before clicking the “FINAL SUBMIT” button, make it doubly sure that these 
are correct.

Once satisfied , in order to submit the form, press “FINAL SUBMIT” button and proceed to
generate “Confirmation Page”.

Thereafter, the confirmation page of your application form will be generated. Take the printout 
of the “Confirmation Page” in two copies. 
One of copy of the “Confirmation Page” has to kept safely by the candidate for 
future requirements and second copy of “Confirmation Page” has to be sent to 
the University at the given address after pasting his/her passport size 
photograph, putting his/her signature & thumb impression (left thumb) and 
parent/ guardian signature at the space provided on the confirmation page. 
The “Confirmation Page” will contain a “Registration Number”. You are required to note 
down this registration number for all future correspondence. 
(b) If the payment is made through credit card / debit card, to generate the confirmation 
page, click the link “ Upload Images and Generate the Confirmation Page” and then 
upload scanned images of your recent photograph, signature & Thumb Impression. Once uploading is complete, The candidate must review the uploaded images by clicking on

along with copy of challan (if the payment is made through bank challan) so as to reach the 
                            Registrar (UPSEE-2014),

on or before 07th April 2014.

  •  EXAMINATION FEE: The examination fee for online application is as follows: 
                                           For Male Candidates of General/ OBC Category -Rs. 1,000/-
                                           For SC/ST Category and All Female Candidate- Rs. 500/-
 Please note that the bank may additionally charge service charges plus applicable taxes while 
making the payment through Credit/Debit card or Challan. 

  •  Application can be submitted online from 15th March 2014 untill 10:00 pm of 05th April 2014.

SEE- UPTU or UPSEE is the entrance exam held every year by UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University) to intake admission in various courses of university in different colleges (Private or Government) of UPTU. Today on 15 March 2014, UPSEE 2014 application forms have been released and will be available till 5th April, which is itself the last date for UPSEE 2014 application forms.

UPSEE 2014 Application forms have been released for various courses and students can apply through online or offline medium. For online the candidate just need to fill the form online and make the payment online where as for offline , candidate needs to fill the form at the offline center (institutions) of UPTU.  However, there are certain courses for which candidate can not apply offline . These courses are MBA, MCA, and MAM.

GAUTAM BUDH TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY, LUKNOW is going to conduct UPSEE 2014 very soon in April. For the same students are preparing and giving their best. Here in this post we are giving the basic outline about the PAPER PATTER of the ENTRANCE EXAMINATION. 


  • The UPSEE 2014 Question Paper will contain 150 questions for 600 marks.
  • Questions will be in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with weight age given to all the papers.
  • Each correct answer will carry four marks with no negative marking.
  • Candidates will have to give only one answer for each question

UPSEE 2014 SEAT ALLOTMENT

UPSEE 2014 SEAT ALLOTMENT AND COUNSELLING, UPSEE 2014 SEAT ALLOTMENT PROCEDURE, SEAT ALLOTMENT PROCESS FOR UPSEE 2014, HOW ARE SEAR ALLOTED FOR UPSEE 2014, ALLOTMENT OF SEATS OF CANDIDATES FOR UPSEE 2014

UPSEE 2014 SEAT ALLOTMESNT procedure will start soon sfter the declaration of examination result. Seat allotment will be completely based on the ranking of qualified students who have registered for UPSEE 2014 COUNSELLING. Candidates must download and print their UPSEE 2014 ALLOTMENT LETTER  and check their allotment.


  • Detailed procedure for UPSEE 2014 counselling and seat allotment:
  • For UPSEE on-line counselling will be done at various counselling centres located at different cities in state of Uttar Pradesh.
    • Based on merit/rank in UPSEE the counselling will be conducted on-line through internet in two phases.
      • In Phase-I, which will be off-campus-on-line, the candidates can exercise their choices at place of their convenience through internet to know about indicative choice allotment at frequent intervals.
      • Phase-II will be on-campus-on-line, where eligible candidates will be required to report at prescribed counsellingcenter for registration and final choice submission.
    • The candidate invited for counselling is to report at counselling centre allotted to him/her.
    • A counselling letter will also be sent by ordinary post to the successful candidates. Any delay on part of Post Office is not the responsibility of University or Central Admission Board.
    • The candidates called for counselling will be required to come with original certificates of qualifying examination, marksheet, rural weightage certificate, domicile and category/ reservation certificates etc. with one attested copy of each
    • Verification of original documents would be done at the time of counselling at the counselling centre.
    • After first counselling, the special drive for re-counselling will be conducted for filling the vacant seats of reserve categories. The detailed procedure for re-counselling of special drive shall be displayed on the website at the time of counselling.

UPSEE 2014 has been awaited for long time. Now the latest notification of UPSEE 2014 EXAM DATE  for admission to vaarious GRADUATE AND POST GRADUATE COURCES has come. The exam is expected to be held on 20th AND 27th OF APRIL .

Entrance exam for B.TECH, B.PHARMA, BHMCT and other bachelor programmes is expected to be on APRIL 2OTH.

Entrance exam for MBA, MCA will be held on APRIL 27TH.
